the entertaining pursuit
one takes
to flee from their shadow...
to live with it
yet acknowledge it not.

I am no stranger to this
unique phenomenon
putting my efforts into
denying what still remains.
how can one venture to ignore or even hide the bright sun?
even as it sets
moon lingers
to reflect
reminding us that sun has never left
...

sun set moments ago
yet, heart has begun to reveal it's reflection.
slowly waking from slumber, I only now catch the setting rays
peeking over small requests and gentle strokes...

summer will never refuse
the intimacy of the sun
while winter boasts of suns ability
to give it space
yet not be to far away...
yet in it all
summer winter
springtime and fall
day or night
the rays will shine...
exclaiming "we have no need to for close inspection!
we will shine, because we are!"...

truth is not a feeling
to be involved,
it needs us not...
truth is not a choice
it is, whether chosen or not...
all the world, all the galaxies, and every season exclaims
Shine Sun, SHINE!...
